Style: Color Morphing Mug

It looks like a plain black mug, but add some coffee and – magic – your funny design, cool pattern, or special photo is revealed. This mug turns heads. It is made with a special, heat-sensitive coating, so, when any hot liquid is added, it changes color to reveal your design against a bright, white background. It may seem simple, but, trust us, a morphing mug never fails to surprise and delight.

Antigua and Barbuda Morphing Mug

Antigua and Barbuda Morphing Mug

The national flag of Antigua and Barbuda was adopted on February 27, 1967, and was designed by a nationally acclaimed artist and sculptor, Sir Reginald Samuel. The rising sun symbolises the dawning of a new era. The colours have different meanings, the black is for the African ancestry of the people, the blue for hope, the red for energy or dynamism of the people. The successive colouring of yellow, blue, and white (from the sun down) also stands for the sun, sea, and sand. The blue also represents the Caribbean Sea, and the V-shape is the symbol of victory. The flag dates from the achievement of self-government in 1967. It was the winning design in a competition that more than 600 local people entered. The designer and winner was Sir Reginald Samuel. The state ensign, which is used only by the national coast guard, consists of a white field, a red cross, and the state flag in the canton.

The black cat in the window mug is magical. I didn’t know what a morphing mug was when I got it. When hot the cat appears and cold it looks like a plain black mug. .

Our art student kid wanted to get dad something special for Christmas and we thought a morphing mug! Once the Sencha tea leaves art (my husband's fav tea) was completed, we uploaded to Zazzle (easy), and positioned the design (easy). Then got the mug in just a few days! Because we chose the black cup morphing, we noticed that there's a strip of white by the handle. Ideally, we would have liked the entire cup black, but overall, we love it and so did my husband! Would buy again, but maybe use a different background color. Awesome! Our kid's design of Sencha tea leaves turned out fabulous!

I wanted to create a Christmas gift for family and friends. I used a photo I had taken of my peacock. When the mugs arrived I was anxious to try it out. It’s amazing to watch as the peacock “magically” appears! The mug itself is great quality and the morphing is beautiful to watch! The colors are amazing!
