Antique French Advertisements - Products for Women Paper Napkins

Fascinating vintage French advertising sheet from the late 19th Century French women's newspaper Le Petit Echo de la Mode. The ads on the page are feature a reange of cleaning, sewing products and medical cures of all types. The page comes from an edition published on January 31, 1897. A message at the top warns that we all might have overdone it over the holidays and so will need some of these remedies. Other funny ads tout "oriental pills" to enhance the figure, thyroid pills, a cap to prevent children's ears from sticking out, an apache remedy for asthma and migraines and "nubian" wax for shoes and suitcases.
