I thought it was embossed instead of smooth. Little disappointed there. Ipad fits good and protects well. Just thought it was leather like in texture. Had I known I would have purchased a different design. No printing, I did not have any printing applied

I did use clear tape along the seams in order to lengthen its usage. *Note: My previous case was purchased two years ago and was replaced by this new cover because it began to tear at the seam. No problems with the printing.
