Antique Wood Floral House Number Ceramic Tile

A lovely understated design to set off your house number! This design was conceived for the original purpose of a wedding collection and turned into something I've been trying to achieve since I started doing surface pattern design; my passion for history written in the everyday objects around us. This particular image is made up of photos of my antique trunk that we found in what was once our dilapidated house, put into illustrator where I discovered the delightful patterns of the wood grain, and then added our first peony blooms of the year resulting in the charm of country folk and rustic sophistication.
