Vintage illustration antique world map detail by artist Martin Waldseemüller ( c. 1470-1520); a German cartographer. He and Matthias Ringmann are credited with the first recorded usage of the word America, on the 1507 map Universalis Cosmographia in honor of the Florentine explorer Amerigo Vespucci. This antique map detail from 1507 features Claudius Ptolemy, the wind blowing from the west, several continents (Africa, Asia and Europe) and blue oceans and seas.

For the price of this particular style, I find it to be of good quality. It's not something that you would use as an everyday keychain unless you won't mind when you begin to see the wear and tear. I love the keychains. I always buy personalized pet presents. Everyone loves them. For Christmas I bought at least 11 of them for all my families dogs.
