The year is 1882. The Native Apache people have been waging a war against the United States government for over 20 years. The Apache Indians are a proud and fierce people, and they are not willing to give up their land without a fight. - One day, a group of Apache warriors are high up in the mountains, overlooking a valley. They are watching the American cavalry troops below, and they are planning an ambush. - The Apache warriors are armed with bows and arrows, and they are skilled hunters. They know how to use the terrain to their advantage, and they are confident that they can defeat the cavalry troops. - The cavalry troops are also skilled soldiers, but they are outnumbered and outgunned. They are also not familiar with the terrain, and they are at a disadvantage. - The Apache warriors attack the cavalry troops from the high ground. They are able to pick off the cavalry troops one by one, and the cavalry troops are quickly overwhelmed. - The cavalry troops are forced to retreat, and the Apache warriors are victorious. - The Apache warriors are celebrating their victory, but they know that the war is not over. They will continue to fight for their land, and they will not give up until they are free. - Artist Henry Farny 1847–1916. This puzzle made a really great gift, my parents loved it! Unfortunately it was missing one puzzle piece, thankfully an edge and not someone's face, lol.

The puzzle was ok. The pieces were really small and they don’t include a blueprint to use. Which would be fine if the photo on the front of the box was larger, but it’s also very small and not really useful for details. I don’t think I’d buy another one from Zazzle until they start providing at least some sort of reference photo. .
