Apothecary - A vist to the chemist 1913 Doormat

Colorized photo from 1913 Original Title: Men inside Oxford drug store Location: Oxford, Ohio This is what drugstores looked like a hundred years ago. The pharmacist, also known as a chemist in other parts of the world, would mix up your medicine right in front of you. Carefully they would creep up a ladder and take down glass containers, filled with odd liquids and powders and create a combination that would leave a horrible taste in your mouth. They would do all of this, with very little light. With all of that, I kind of wonder what the survival rate was back then.
