Arcimboldo Winter t-shirt. Oil on canvas from 1563. Giueseppe Arcimboldo painted some of the most fascinating paintings of the late Renaissance. Composing portraits with vegetables, fruits, trees, fish and other foods, the Italian artist developed a huge following within the Hapsburg court. Winter is one of his seasonal paintings and depicts a profile in portrait composed of a dead stump with only winter ivy and a few last lemons. The shirt is good quality and fits just fine, but the colors of the printing are not as bright as in the sample photo. Not the best. The colors are a lot brighter in the sample photo; when I received the shirt they appeared faded. The red looks a little more pink and the blue is a lot lighter. N.B. I did not wash the shirt yet.
