Ares 1-X Jigsaw Puzzle
The Ares-1 was intended to be a temporary replacement for the Space Shuttle after it retired. It would ferry crew to the ISS so NASA didn't have to use Russian rockets. It was basically a solid rocket side booster from the shuttle with an Orion capsule on top. However it proved to be far too dangerous for humans, and was canceled after just one fight of the prototype in 2009.
