The Seventh Army was a United States army created during World War II that served in North Africa, Italy, France, and Germany. It evolved into the United States Army Europe (USAREUR) during the 1950s and 1960s. It should not be confused with the VII Army Corps, which was a different unit that also served in Europe, or the 7th Infantry Division, which is an active duty infantry division based at Joint Base Lewis-McChord.
