Art Deco Does Persia -Pea Green, Tangerine, Maroon Ceramic Tile
One of the big influences on "Art Deco" was the introduction of western artists to cultures, both ancient and contemporary, from countries like Egypt, Japan, Morocco, and Persia. Sometimes, that influence was displayed by direct imitation, sometimes with only a variation of color schemes, and othertimes the western artists would take the basic mathematical principles and apply them to 20th Century themes. In that grand tradition, artist Leslie Sigal Javorek brings this series of original digital paintings as homage to Art Deco and particularly to the amazing Persian artists of the 15th Century.

From the pictures we needed to replace two tiles that had the old toothbrush and soap dish and the tile guy said two tiles would have to be removed. The tiles were PERFECT! just a slight color difference to the naked eye but they match pretty darn good. Tile guy had to shave the back because the 1957 tile was thinner but as you can see it worked out great! We are elated over the moon happy, Thank you!
