In judo, there are two main phases of combat: the standing tachiwaza and the ground newaza phase. Judo's balance between both the standing and ground phases of combat gives judoka the ability to take down opponents who are standing up and then pin and submit them on the ground. This painting has caught the throw silouhetted against a full Japanese sun and has the Japnese Kanji sign for Judo in the top left hand corner. This print would look good on any Dojo wall.

The shirt is well-made; the material is soft and not too thin. The sleeves are just right. I ordered a size larger just in case and it fits as expected for a shirt that is one-size too big. Considering it will probably shrink the more it's washed, I don't mind it. The print of my job's logo looks great. I haven't noticed any bleeding or imperfections.
