ARTEMIS I: Liftoff of the SLS - "We are Going Back to the Moon!"
This design by KSCartist-Tim Gagnon imagines the view from the roof of the VAB as the SLS rocket of Artemis I lifts off the pad. The clouds in the sky are brilliantly lit from the fire of the Core Stage engines and the SRBs. The flame at the base of the rocket casts a shadow upward.
While thousands came to the Space Coast to witness this event live, this design imagines the experience of those across the country and around the world who watched it virtually on NASA TV.
So many people worked so hard and for so long to make this launch happen. It is a pleasure to commemorate their success.

My 11 yo wore adult XL (5’7” 165#). The 8yo is small framed. She wore adult small and tied it in the back. Dark haired male wore adult large and 5’9”, 110# female wore adult medium . Good quality dark Heather gray, Gildan brand shirt. -it was next up from basic choice and cost about $20 per shirt. Not too thick or thin. Washed and dried well, no major shrinkage. Not see-through. Can wear a bra under it fine. Screen print is just as shown and well done, front and back.
