This design features a painting by the Austrian artist Albert Rieger (1834–1905). It shows an Asian landscape in an Orientalist style. There is a river surrounded by a jungle of overgrown trees. There are minarets in the background. The scene appears to be a composite of Chinese and Indian tropes. It was intended as an elegant and exotic artwork. The original title of the painting is "The Orient in the Evening Light", reflecting the fact that the sun can be seen setting in the sky.
