Sir Lawrence Alma-Tadema was a classical subject painter, his genre was Academicism, academic art is a style which practiced under the movements of Neoclassicism and Romanticism. Alma-Tadema became famous for his depictions of the luxury and decadence of the Roman Empire, with languorous figures set in fabulous marbled interiors or against a backdrop of dazzling blue Mediterranean sea and sky.

LOVED the look of the product initially and it came just as pictured! Didn't want to cram all of the info onto the actual wedding invitations themselves, so these cards were super cheap and cute if you wanted something small and affordable with a more rustic look!
