About the artist: Sir Lawrence Alma-Tadema (1836-1912) was a classical subject painter, his genre was Academicism, Neoclassicism and Romanticism. He became famous for the luxury and decadence of the Roman Empire, with languorous figures set in fabulous marbled interiors or against a backdrop of dazzling blue Mediterranean sea and sky.

My nephew and wife said they like the pillow very much. Only bad thing has nothing to do with the pillow. Apparently their cat loves it too, and not in a good way! I haven't seen the printing personally but they were enthusiastic about the pillow so I'll go with that.

I bought this pillow (after customizing the font) four our Master bedroom. It adds such a romantic and fun touch to the room and is perfect for displaying atop our pine blanket chest. The design was wonderful! The letters showed up clearly, and I loved that it was white with black font on one side and black with white font on the other, since I couldn't make up my mind which of those options I preferred.
