The Attitude Indicator or AI is an aircraft flight instrument that shows the pilot graphically how the aircraft is oriented relative to the Earth’s horizon. This instrument is also known as an artificial horizon or gyro horizon. The gyro designation refers to a spinning gyroscope that stays upright regardless of what the plane is doing. This gyro is mounted in a double gimbal array to drive the instrument display and show the pilot if the plane is pitching or rolling.

The shirt is good quality and fits just fine, but the colors of the printing are not as bright as in the sample photo. Not the best. The colors are a lot brighter in the sample photo; when I received the shirt they appeared faded. The red looks a little more pink and the blue is a lot lighter. N.B. I did not wash the shirt yet.
