Austrian Flag (Austria) Card
The design for this item is based on the national flag of the Republic of Austria, a landlocked East Alpine country in the southern part of Central Europe. The Austrian flag with its three distinctive bands of red and white is based on the coat of arms of the Babenberg dynasty. According to legend, the flag was invented by Duke Leopold V of Austria as a result of his fighting in the Siege of Acre. After a ferocious battle, his white overcoat was completely covered in blood. When he removed his belt, the cloth beneath remained unstained, revealing the combination of red-white-red. He was so impressed by this powerful sight that he adopted the colours and scheme as his banner. The capital and largest city of Austria is Vienna. Other major cities or towns in Austria include Graz, Linz, Salzburg, Innsbruck, Klagenfurt, Villach, Wels, Sankt Pölten, Dornbirn, Wiener Neustadt, Steyr, Feldkirch, Bregenz, Leonding, Klosterneuburg, Baden, Wolfsberg, Leoben and Krems.

I was searching high and low for an invitation that went with a fire theme (account my mom wants 70 real live burning candles on the cake) surprise birthday party. I found these and couldn’t buy them quick enough! They far exceeded my expectations! One word of caution is that they default to matte so if you want glossy finish you have to manually select it. I only changed where the 2 clip art pics were located to make space for the text. I even used the default font for the design. Comes with nice white envelopes that don’t need the upgrade. Lovely quality note card. I ordered the pearlescent finish, and while it does look very pretty, I don't think it added enough of a glittery sheen to order that finish again.
The design is gorgeous and the colors are vibrant and beautiful. Everything from order to delivery was great, including time frames between order and delivery. I am pleased with this order and would order again.
Kind of sad that you can order the cards in singles, but the matching envelopes must be ordered in quantities of 10. I just elected to have the white envelope included with the card instead, but someone buying multiple note cards might enjoy ordering the matching envelopes as well.
