Autumn Foliage on Portland Japanese Garden Maple Jigsaw Puzzle
Quite possibly the most photographed tree in the entire world, this laceleaf Japanese maple was planted in 1968 at the Portland Japanese Garden and is estimated to be about 70 years old today. The origins of this tree are a little uncertain but best guesses from the gardeners place the tree at about 20 years old when it was planted. Each autumn in October it turns a brilliant red for a week or two, before quickly dropping all of its leaves for the winter.

The puzzle was ok. The pieces were really small and they don’t include a blueprint to use. Which would be fine if the photo on the front of the box was larger, but it’s also very small and not really useful for details. I don’t think I’d buy another one from Zazzle until they start providing at least some sort of reference photo. .
