Johann Sebastian Bach had a gig for some time performing in a coffee house. It was then that he created his famous "Coffee Cantata." Apparently already people were wondering if coffee was bad for you, or saying ladies shouldn't drink it. The Coffee Cantata is about a young lady who insists on having her coffee, even against her father's wishes. And so this quote: "Ah! How sweet coffee tastes, lovelier than a thousand kisses!" It appears on this mug in English in one side and in the original German on the other. This mug would be fun for a classical music lover, a coffee lover, a music teacher, a German teacher, a Bach fan, an opera singer or classical singer or musician, or anyone who enjoys the finer things in life, music, and literature.
