Backlit Aspen Tree Fall Foliage Blue Sky Arizona

This beautiful customizable note card features a photo of golden aspen foliage in all of its autumn glory backlit by the late afternoon sun and blue sky. This photo was taken at the Mogollon Rim in the Rim Country near Payson, Arizona, USA. The Mogollon Rim forms the southern edge of the Colorado Plateau in Arizona and extends 200 miles from northern Yavapai County and runs eastward ending near the border of New Mexico. This country is filled with aspen trees, pines and oaks, with a few maples sprinkled in here and there. Wildlife abounds with white-tailed deer and mule deer, elk, bears, mountain lions, bobcats and foxes, and coyotes, just to name a few of the species found here. Sweeping Scenic views can be found at the edge of the Rim, and there are many turn-offs along the Rim Road, where this photo was taken, where travelers often stop to enjoy the scenery.
