Bahla Fort Oman Postcard

Bahla Fort is an expansive defensive complex that is one of Oman's oldest and most historically significant fortifications. Located within the oasis town of Bahla in the Ad Dakhiliyah region, this colossal structure was built starting in the 13th century and features extensive mud-brick walls, imposing towers, and a vast courtyard. It was the stronghold of the Banu Nebhan tribe and is renowned for its strategic design and architectural features that showcase the ingenuity of traditional Omani engineering.
