Banana Flower Pattern Notebook

The original pattern by HomeWare on this Notebook was created from an original photograph of a banana flower. The photo has been repeated to form this tropical pattern. The colors are straight from nature, with an intricate background of yellow green, unripe bananas and the rich, dark reddish brown of the flower petals, called bracts, curving around in front. Beneath every layer lies an orderly row of little yellow-tipped fronds. These are the buds that eventually become bananas. The petals are a lighter, dusty pink color as the layers unfold toward the heart of the flower.
