An ancient pueblo building made of rock stands against the canyon wall in Bandelier National Monument in New Mexico. Along the canyon wall, voids in the volcanic tuff were further carved and used as dwellings, shelters and kiva ceremonial spaces. A man can be seen entering one of the holes in the canyon wall by ladder.
