Baphomet Old Style mug
Over a century ago, Oswald Wirth (today famous for his popular deck of tarot cards) created an illustration in Stanislas de Guaita's 1897 book "La Clef de la Magie Noire" depicting a goat's head in a point down pentagram. The symbol was purported to be the magical sigil of those who rejected mainstream religious and moral strictures and, instead, followed the Left Hand Path. Wirth believed that a secret cabal of Freemasons practiced a form of cabalistic sorcery in league with Satan. His artful rendering of the "Sigil of Baphomet" is presented in this piece.

The product was of the finest quality. A layer of clear glaze has been applied over the design after it had been printed or painted. The design edges were crisp and clear. I expect that this mug will last for many years to come. I expected the design to be printed or painted onto the outside of the mug but was pleased to find a layer of glaze over the very fine design. There is no sticker or paint to wear off.

They came out beautifully and my sisters and Mom were very touched! See for yourself in my picture attached! 2 out of 4 were Perfect! The printing turned out badly for 2 of 4 and they were also broken in shipping. Zazzle was amazing and shipped out 2 new replacements that were perfect!! So 4 out of 4 were perfect!
