It's great for a musician to be able to wear something to gigs which represents his instrument. This tie is plain white with an organic-looking bass clef on it. Great to be worn with or without a jacket. I wear mine with just a black shirt and slacks. Suitable for players of bass guitar, bass fiddle, sousaphone, or any other bass instrument. I don't know what the designer of the tie expected, but it looks great to me! The "organic" quality reminds me a bit like some of the plant life in Tim Burton movies!
