Bavarian organ calendar
Southern German is the home of many famous pipe organs that are renowned for their exuberant baroque and rococo designs. In this calendar (which is customisable), it is easy to see the joy and passion the builders and artists who created these instruments long ago felt for their creations. Not all organs here are from centuries back - Memmingen is a recent installation by Goll. But one of the biggest tourist attractions in Bavaria - the Wieskirche chapel - is here too. The full list of organ locations is: Wies, Schongau, Rottenbuch, Isny, Memmingen, Würzburg, Scheidegg, Nesselwang, Lindau (two different organs from the same Muenster), Lindenberg, Steingaden. The cover shows one of the pedal towers of the 1766 Riepp organ in Ottobeuren Abbey. The back of the calendar shows the organ and ceiling of St Mang in Fuessen. This design allows only for a single page style; if you want to flip the pages using a central hinge and with a horizontal layout, the same photos are available from our shop on a second version of Organs of Bavaria.

Before purchasing, I contacted Naomi about the recommended size and layout. She recommended the single page so that the front cover will look right. She also recommended either the small or medium size. I purchased the medium size calendar, single page layout per month, and I love it! The photos are beautiful! I understand that the smaller size is 11" x 7" and I wanted something larger than that. The medium size measures 16.5" x 10.75". The images look great!
