About This Design

Be Your Own Light (Jitomyo) Kanji Clock

Be Your Own Light (Jitomyo) Kanji Clock

[ MEANING ] "Jitomyo" is a profound Zen teaching that means "Be your own light." [ PHILOSOPHY ] It was the final message of the Buddha, encouraging followers to trust their inner wisdom and stand firm on their own feet rather than relying on others. [ PERSONALIZATION ] You can customize this item with your own name or a message. The calligraphy font is carefully selected to maintain the authentic Shodo aesthetic. [ DESIGN ] Minimalist Sumi-e style ink sketch of a traditional candle with bold Shodo calligraphy. This design brings a sense of calm and self-reliance to any space. [ PERFECT FOR ] Independent thinkers, meditation practitioners, and those seeking inner strength.

It arrived on time and in good condition and it works. Zazzle has been great to work with. I have no complaints at all. I loved that the product turned out as expected!

Great price for a very nice product. Arrived a day early - unheard of these days. The outside gold area has a little more orange tone to it than shown in the picture. Great packing so product can't get damaged. I used the same packing to forward the clock to my brother and sister-on-law for the 50th wedding anniversary. Printing was just as expected - lovely!
