Beautiful Angel Sobriety "One Day at a Time" Art Award

I would have preferred waiting to give thoughts on this product after giving it to my brother. I am very fond of angels and have representations of them all over my home; including jewelery. Because of my interest my brother has given me many angels. December 26, 2014 is the 30 year anniversary of my brother's first day of sobriety. Therefore, I purchased this for him and am looking forward to his reaction when he opens it. Like my mother, I love purples and lavenders. The various shades of color creates the look of it being carved out of rock. The etching of the angel and attention to detail is exquisite. The shape of the product enhances the artistic beauty of the piece. I chose white for the words so they could be clearly read. However, the white it not overpowering nor does it take away from the art.

The idea for this zazzle creation came from an acrylic with "one day at a time" etched onto it. I uploaded a photo of MIRROR LAKE in UTAH, where my husband's ashes were spread back in 2005. Then I added a popular quote from AA's big book "And acceptance is the answer to all my problems today". The lake photo came through perfectly as did the quote. This was my gift to my daughter to celebrate a third year of sobriety for her. Having the backdrop of the lake added another dimension of intimacy for her gift. The gift says Mom, Dad, Rose, accomplishment, gratitude, and so much more. I try to do personal gifts for people as much as I can afford to and this is my best one so far. thank you to Zazzle and the artists.

Very nice, well made. I have two of the rectangle photo blocks, which I love. I think this would be perfect as a photo block too. However, this one was purchased as encouragement and inspiration. Love it. Extremely nice. Bright vibrant colors.
