I have so many cherished memories that come from living near or taking vacations at the beach. I love to walk along the shore and listen to the crashing waves for hours. My favorite time is when the sun is setting and the sky becomes alive with color. This artwork is from a set of beach paintings titled "Pieces of Beaches - Sunset I" a small section of a sunset from Wilderness State Park, MI. The color palette is in shades of pink, purple, orange, and blue.
