"Finished crap is better than perfect nothing."
It was four in the morning, and I had a paper due for a class in just five hours. I definitely didn't want to write the paper, but I tried to tell myself that even a 50% F was better than a 0% F. It was then that I uttered this phrase, and knew I was on to something.
Since then, I've been using this phrase to motivate me to sit my butt in the chair and make something. Even if I don't think it's a good something. If you need an additional reminder, get this so there's no escaping it. Or maybe get it as a not-so-subtle hint for the artist in your life...
