This design features a painting by British artist Frederic Leighton (1830–1896), who was famous for producing artworks featuring historical, biblical and classical subject matter in an academic style. It is a portrait of a sweet young girl. The original work was completed in 1879, and it is now housed in the Hamburger Kunsthalle [Hamburg Museum of Art], Germany.
