Bird Flu Feather Word Cloud Drinks Coaster

This drinks coaster serves as a message to be vigilant. It features a design that presents, in a colorful visual form as a word cloud, the keywords that summarize the issues surrounding the threat to our health from the avian influenza virus, an infection in birds that is commonly referred to as Bird Flu. The word cloud lies on a background consisting of a bird's white feather. The virus in infected birds, both domestic poultry and wild birds, can mutate to infect humans and this has led to epidemics in humans, primarily in Asia, with often fatal results (60% of those infected by the Avian Influenza A strain H5N1 have died). The more the flu virus spreads the greater the risk of a global pandemic. Those at risk from exposure include farmers and others who work with poultry, travelers visiting affected countries, those in contact with infected birds and food products, and those in contact with infected patients. This line of products is intended to raise awareness of the threat that bird flu poses when and if it were to extend globally and is an ideal way of spreading the message of risk of infection and preventative hygiene measures via health care workers, NGOs, aid agencies, and private and public sector organizations. Easy to customize. Use the Customize It button to fully personalize the design. Replace the text 'BIRD FLU BE ALERT' with your own message or name. The orange border around the circumference may be removed. Personalize and re-brand with your own logo or message, buy in bulk at discount and give away or re-sell to support the raising of awareness of this health threat in your community.
