The pattern on this design was created by British textile designer William Morris (1834–1896). In fact, William Morris designed it for the walls of the drawing room of his family home, Kelmscott House. It shows beautiful birds against a floral background of blue and green. The pattern was first created in 1878.

The shirt is good quality and fits just fine, but the colors of the printing are not as bright as in the sample photo. Not the best. The colors are a lot brighter in the sample photo; when I received the shirt they appeared faded. The red looks a little more pink and the blue is a lot lighter. N.B. I did not wash the shirt yet.
