Birthday postcard inspired by an Egyptian style ornamental flower found in a 19th century pattern book (Auguste Racinet, L' ornement polychrome, 1869-1873). The blue lotus, also called the sacred blue lily, is very important in Egyptian mythology. Since the flowers are closed at night and open again in the morning, the flower is regarded as a symbol for the sun, creation and rebirth. Personalize the postcard simply by typing over the example text. You can also change the background color of the picture.

I got these to go with the matching invitations and used them as RSVP postcards. Everyone loves them! The feedback was they are the neatest design the invitees have seen! Just a word of caution these default to matte so if you are wanting gloss you have to change it manually. Thanks Cathy for providing the best product for our occasion! I am super impressed! .
