Black And White Poppy Opium Inside T-Shirt

Black and white version of a red opium poppy inspired from a real poppy plant, wandering "what if the poppy flower had no colour at all?" The poppy that inspired this design was growing in a small city garden, at the mountains, about 900 m altitude. I stopped for a minute in front of the garden to see the opium poppy plant with red corolla, which colours started to fade in the late afternoon light. I instantly saw in my mind this monochrome composition that I started to create soon after. I started to imagine the red bloom's color fading more and more, until there was no color at all in its petals. I found that unexpectedly attracting, some kind of dream plant that still was looking like a poppy. The composition is made by digitally editing the original capture with Adobe Photoshop using filters and colour grading techniques.
