As a round brown egg, they are planted on parsley by the female. They then eat out their shell and eat parsley leaves. Their bodies are bright green with black stripes and yellow dots. I can't speak to the wearibility or comfort of the shoe since it was a gift. However, it presents itself well. The color scheme on this particular shoe is stunning. The clolors are vivid and rich.
