Black & White Three Hares Dutch Rabbits Geometric Faux Canvas Print

In my adaptation of an ancient design, three chasing Dutch rabbits share three ears as they run in a circle. The artwork is in black on a soft gray / white with a black background, highlighted by matching gray / white circular bands and lines.. A traditional saying borders the bunnies, reading, "Rabbits three and ears as few / Yet each rabbit has its two" in hand lettered script. Originally painted as a ceramic tile mural with kiln-fired glazes and underglazes, lending a soft look to the artwork. A beautiful piece to accent black and white decor, and great for any rabbit lover. The Three Hares design is found in ancient & medieval art and architecture throughout Europe and the middle east.
