Blue Desert Lupine Flowers And Orange Poppies Postcard

This horizontal postcard features a photo of blue Desert Lupine flowers and orange California Poppies in predominantly warm colors. Both lupines and poppies are common flowers in the Sonoran Desert of Arizona. These were photographed along the roadside of North Bartlett Dam Road at Bartlett Lake in Carefree, Arizona, only about an hour north of Phoenix. This is a very scenic area and well worth the ride! This year (2019) we are expecting a Superbloom in the desert, which is a rare occurrence, however, the last one was only 2 years ago in 2017, but before that the last one was in 2006. We have been blessed to have 2 superblooms so close together! This card is part of a stationery set that also includes a vertical and horizontal greeting card, a vertical postcard, stationery sheets, return address labels, shipping labels, envelopes and envelope liners, as well as envelopes seals.
