Bold Signature Susan B Anthony on Trademark Red Scarf

Make a bold statement with this red chiffon scarf embellished with Susan B. Anthony's signature. Ms. Anthony was well known for two trademark wardrobe items one was her alligator bag that she carried everywhere which was essentially her briefcase and the other was a red shawl. Of course, it's not that obvious since the only photos of her were in black and white but indeed, she wore a red shawl everywhere she went. It made her instantly recognizable to reporters and the general public especially when they didn't have the access to photos like we do today. It was said that you knew it was spring in D.C. when Ms. Anthony's famous red shawl was seen because she had returned to lobby the returning congressmen for suffrage. The original scarf is now housed in the National Museum of American History Washington D.C.
