Bonnie Blue Flag Embroidered Baseball Hat
The Bonnie Blue Flag was used as an unofficial flag during the early months of 1861. It was flying above the Confederate batteries that first opened fire on Fort Sumter, beginning the Civil War. The Van Dorn battle flag was also carried by Confederate troops fighting in the Trans-Mississippi and Western theaters of war. In addition, many military units had their own regimental flags they would carry into battle. Other notable flags used are shown below.

I bought this as a Christmas gift for my fiancé and it couldn't have been better! He LOVES it. Left him literally speechless (and while you don't know him, you have to trust me that this is a HUGE deal). Fits his head perfectly which I was worried about because he doesn't fit most traditional caps, I'd guess you could probably say it runs a little big but for us it was perfect. Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you times a zillion! Stitching is on point. There is a little bit of thread between each digit where it wasn't cut but just continued for each line. I wasn't expecting this- but then I'm not super informed on how embroidery works. He wears this hat every day and it's held up beautifully- looks like brand new still!
