Alessandro di Mariano di Vanni Filipepi called Sandro Botticelli (1445-1510) Madonna and Child Enthroned. c, 1470. Florence, Italy. Recently (12-5-2024) this stunningly beautiful Botticelli auctioned for 8.6 million pounds (about 11 million dollars US) plus auction fees making the total about 10 million pounds which is about 12.75 million dollars US, triple the estimate. There were 9 bidders. The size of the painting was about 32 3/4 inches by 17 7/8 inches. The colors are somewhat digitally enhanced (a bit more color). A damaged lower right corner of the frame has been digitally restored. I made Mary's robe a bit bluer which was nearly black in the some 554 year old painting. I like this result. The shirt is good quality and fits just fine, but the colors of the printing are not as bright as in the sample photo. Not the best. The colors are a lot brighter in the sample photo; when I received the shirt they appeared faded. The red looks a little more pink and the blue is a lot lighter. N.B. I did not wash the shirt yet.
