Two angels sustain an open book. Virgin Mary has blonde hair and writes in the open book. dipping her quill in an inkwell. Baby Jesus is in her lap, looking toward the sky and reaching the book with his hand. There are golden rays coming from above or from the heads of the characters. The painting has a golden wood frame with floral decorations. The painting is in the public domain.
