Breakfast Under the Birch (frukost under stora björken) (1896) by Carl Larsson is a vintage Victorian Era fine art daily life painting. A family is eating lunch in the garden under a large birch tree. Children with adults and parents are sitting at a picnic table enjoying their meal in the backyard. There are a couple of beer bottles are cast aside carelessly on the green grass. They are enjoying the beautiful sunny summer weather.
About the artist:
Carl Larson (1853 -1919) was a Scandinavian Art Nouveau painter from Sweden and a member of the arts and crafts movement.

The minute I spotted this item I knew I HAD to order these for my daughter's wedding for the Hotel Goodie Bags since the wedding was held at a vineyard. The quality is great and they were a little bigger than I expected but worked out and will be useful to the recipients to tote their books, papers, lunch etc for future use. The picture shows what we put inside to welcome our hotel guests. I was very satisfied with the printing on the tote and I liked I was able to choose the font and size for the bag.
