British Invasion 2 Postcard

This is the second of our popular British Invasion designs, celebrating the days during the mid 1960s when a flood of British pop groups surged across the Atlantic to dominate the charts, changing the face of popular music forever. Ironically, these British acts took their influence from American rock n roll and rhythm and blues music in the first place before taking it back to the USA. Following Brian Epstein's decision to put his famous protoges into suits instead of leather, many of these British Sixties bands followed the style, and our design makes a feature of the standard-issue 1960s pop look. Great for anyone who loves the music of the Sixties or has an interest in music history.
