Bigger than I thought it would be, but still should be a little larger. Perfect to hold small items or small candies, such as paper clips, M&Ms, maybe gumdrops.. but not for larger things like mini candy bars or lollipops. Would have liked to be able to place the writing on the complete opposite side from the photo, instead of right next to it. Instead, there is a big empty space on one side of the jar. It would have looked nicer if we were allowed to evenly place the written portion around the other side of the jar.
