Burano Island in Venice, Italy canal water, colorful buildings and boats. Taking in the tourist sites is a great experience, but taking the time to find and capture a unique perspective of an ordinary scene or an interesting architectural elements makes the experience of Italy far more memorable. You never know what you are going to find. For instance, a trip to the famous island of Murano was interesting for it's glass, but to our surprise, the real gem was it's neighboring island Burano where we found bold colorful buildings housing wonderful cafes and shops, and a unique charm all it's own. This picture has it all - the colorful buildings, water in a canal filled with boats/gondolas, and the activity of a vibrant town! Taken from a walking bridge for a great perspective.
