Early spring heralds my favorite type of yard work: burning brush. Flickering yellow and orange flames consume a pile of pine cones and sticks, leaving some light gray ash in the foreground. The dancing fire patterns take up most of the photo angling diagonally up to the left. The edges of the blackened pine cones glow orange highlighting their texture and form. I gave several of these 10" sleeves as Christmas gifts this year, I was a bit nervous about what the image was going to look like when I ordered them and I placed my order in at the last minute. I was very happy with the results of the printing and color and most importantly the arrived on time and they were a hit as gifts. I created this image along with many others but I had not seen the final product until I decided to give them out as Christmas gifts and I was blown away at the quality of the printing and colors, they were more than I thought it was going to be.
