Antique Vegetable Can Label Showcasing Butterfly Brand Vegetables - The Vegetable vintage label is from a vegetable can from the 1890s. The butterfly label is from the Butterfly Brand Boston Marrow Squash, a handsome black and red label with a picture of an ornate butterfly and the can's antique advertising. This vintage label would have been the label on canned squash when you would go shopping in the grocery in the late 1800s. The butterfly label is ornate, the Butterfly Brand labels were some of the most beautiful labels of the Victorian era. It says, Butterfly Brand, Packed by Olney & Floyd, Westernville, Oneida Co., N.Y.
