Caesar - Kaiser - Tsar cigar box label print Jigsaw Puzzle
I’m the recent lucky recipient of a whole collection of antique cigar box labels, dating back to the 1890s. Some are printed with the name of the particular brand of cigars the box held. Others – like this one - are not. The label shows Frederick the Great in the lower left, Peter the Great in the lower right, and at the top Julius Caesar. Even though he doesn't look like Julius Caesar (he doesn't seem to have the famous Caesar hairdo), but I guess in keeping with the theme, that's him. A VERY nifty image which looks equally nifty on all kinds of EVERYTHING. Note that my shop has lots of old timey images of food can labels, fruit and vegetable crate labels, and cigar box labels appearing on thousands - yep, THOUSANDS - of items. This is a beautiful puzzle with just the right amount of difficult. I’m a puzzler and I really enjoyed doing this one.
There were two pitfalls. One, is that the pieces fit together a little too loosely for my liking. Two, I got a puzzle where the edges of all the pieces were lifting at the edges, like it wasn’t cut with a sharp blade. I called Zazzle and they sent me out a new one immediately! Zazzle was awesome to work with! The picture was amazing!!

The final product looks great, bright, bold colors, and identical to website photo. I would give it a five but for the fact that the pieces fit very loose making it difficult to move pieces around. Also some pieces can fit perfectly in different locations. You have no idea that a piece is misplaced until an adjacent piece won't fit or does not exist. That does make the puzzle more difficult to put together. Once it was glued together with puzzle glue it was really nice. The custom printing was perfect. It perfectly matched the photo that you see online when ordering.
